The Convergence Lectures

What are the Convergence Lectures?

Convergence Lectures are a series of teachings that will “bridge the gap” between the sacred and the secular. These lectures will utilize wisdom from Holy Scripture, church history, and from secular disciplines to show common ground, identify clear contrasts, and to provide starting points for conversation.

Feel free to invite believing and unbelieving friends to these lectures, or just come yourself, and then take the conversation home with you, to your neighbors and into your place of work.

When are the Convergence Lectures?

Convergence lectures will generally be on Thursday nights at 6:00 p.m. Check the Pew Highlights, Parish Notes, and the website for future scheduled lectures.

Is their childcare?

There can be! If you are interested in attending a lecture and plan on bringing kids, let Father Ben, Chris, Lisa, Betsy, or Claire know.
